Jeremy Gieske Training
Consultant As a father of a young child, Jeremy Gieske
knows the challenges parents face when managing their children's media consumption.
He strongly supports the Institute's mission in educating parents and giving them
the tools they need to make good media choices for their kids. That's why Jeremy
has been working with the National Institute on Media and the Family for more
than five years as a video game reviewer, consultant and speaker. As
a professional trainer for a major Minnesota retail company, Jeremy is prepared
to not only share information about Internet safety and Raising MediaWise®
Kids, but to help teach practical and applicable ways of managing media in your
home. Jeremy knows and understands technology-he's reviewed many of the games
your kids are talking about, but more importantly he knows how to really explain
the impact media choices have on your kids, schools and neighborhoods.
Jeremy, his wife and son live in Rogers, MN. He has a Masters with distinction
from the University of Salford in Manchester, England where he wrote a published
dissertation on video games and their historical and social impact. He also has
an undergraduate degree in mass communications from St. Cloud State University.
